Boredom strikes on my 3rd day here in UAE, i miss my relax and worry free life in Bicol, i miss the voice of the taho vendor, which always wakes me up in the morning, laughing sounds of the kids on the streets whose playing tumbang preso on the afternoon and I miss everything that I left on that small townn of Paracale.
The temperature outside our house ranges from 39 degrees up to 45 degrees, and that's the major factor why i can't go outside to take a walk on my 1st and 2nd day here. It's so hot, it's like the sun is pinching my skin, can you imagine that?
I'm so bored on this house even-though I have 8 mbps internet connection, it cant cure my itchy feet who want's to walk, explore and discover what can this country has to offer. I only have a couple of Dirhams in my pocket, a bottle of mineral water, crackers, camera, a map and of course, cellphone on my backpack and im ready to go.
I leave the house at exactly 10 am, nervous maybe because on what i saw on the TV shows and movies about islam/muslim people, afraid because i might get caught jaywalking and excited. I don't know where to go, just go lang nang go.

This is the Al Ain Palace Museum, the former residence in Al Ain of the late Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan. The Palace museum showcases some restored and some replicated structures of the original palace that was built in 1937.
I like how the management of the museum allows the visitors to roam freely, anyone can enter the rooms, take photo's and the guards were only located in the entrance and they are friendly and approachable.
This Museum Reminds me of the walled city of Intramuros, because they are both surrounded by high walls that protects the structures an community inside.
The Museum schedule: Saturdays to Thursdays: 8.30 am – 7.30 pm
Fridays: 3.00 pm – 7.30 pm
This is just a preview post about this Museum, Ill write an exclusive post about this on the near future. Hope you like the photos :)
